When the tomato was first introduced to Italy, it was nicknamed “the devil’s fruit” due to their colour and the belief that they caused illness. The Italians had a choice, adopt the new exciting fruit (yes, it is a fruit) or keep their plain and flavourless flat breads for eternity? Here we stand, at the precipice. Do we adopt the new, tasty future of AI? Or do we keep it in the shadows? Where students trade, share, and consume their own tomatoes regardless.
